Wale is being sued by a company that claims to have paid him $25,000 for a concert he never showed up to.
A promotion company, Upfront and Personal Global, has filed a lawsuit against Wale for allegedly skipping a performance in NYC this summer after he had already been paid $25,000 for the show. Legal documents, obtained by TMZ , contains an alleged signed contract between Upfront and Wale’s management team as well as evidence of two wire transfer payments of $12,500.
The promoters claim that Wale never responded to them when they contacted him after the missed performance in order to ask for their money back. They are now seeking the $25,000 that was paid to him as well as an undisclosed amount of interest.
