Lil Wayne’s Daughter On T .I.’s Public Criticism Of Her Dad : “You Lost His Number ?”

Reginae feels T.I. was “seeking attention” by addressing Wayne on Instagram rather than a private text.

Reginae Carter, daughter of Lil Wayne , has never been shy about getting involved in her father’s battles. Last year, she criticized Young Thug for his decision to name his album Carter 6 (later becoming Barter 6), and now, she’s questioning T.I. ‘s decision to publicly denounce Wayne’s controversial “Black Lives Matter” comments.

T.I. took to Instagram to advise Wayne of the error in his ways ,
calling his comments “completely unacceptable,” as well as telling the rapper he is “bringing shame on” his family name and “tarnishing” his legacy.

Reginae then chose to swoop into the comments of the post, suggesting that T.I. should have simply called or texted Wayne, who he’s been good friends with for some time. “You lost his number?” she wrote, adding, “You should have copied and pasted this and sent it to him thru via text but u wanna seek for attention.”

nightline , suggesting that he didn’t feel connected to BLM. “What is it? What do you mean? That just sounds weird,” he said of Black Lives Matter. “I don’t know, that you put a name on it…It’s not a name, it’s not, ‘whatever whatever.’ It’s somebody got shot by a policeman for a fucked up reason.”

Wayne has since apologized for his remarks , blaming his comments on agitation caused by questions the host had previously asked about his daughter. “From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses,” he said.

It’s also been reported that Wayne was attempting to block the interview from airing, but was unsuccessful.
