T .I .’ s Restaurant Reportedly Facing Eviction For Unpaid Rent

T.I.-owned Atlanta restaurant Scales 925 is in financial trouble.

Operating a restaurant is one of the most difficult business ventures in the game. T.I. is finding that out the hard way. Tip has an ownership stake in Scales 925, which is billed as “Upscale Southern Cuisine in the Heart of Atlanta.” Last month, he and his business partner were sued by 12 employees who claimed that they were owed over $50,000 in unpaid wages. Now, TMZ reports that Scales 925 is facing eviction from its building in downtown Atlanta after failing to pay several months of rent.

T.I. reportedly has a laissez-faire, hands-off approach to Scales 925, letting his business partner (the one who allegedly stiffed their employees) and management group operate the restaurant.

He had no idea the restaurant was going under — now it’s up to him to swoop in and save the day.
