Knight claims he has a 30% stake in Dre’s entertainment earnings.
Earlier this year , Suge Knight and his lawyer alleged that Dr. Dre was responsible for the 2014 nightclub shooting that left Knight with several gunshot wounds.
According to TMZ, Knight has now
filed a massive lawsuit against Dre, alleging that he is entitled to $300 million from the sale of Beats by Dre to Apple in 2014.
In the lawsuit, Knight claims that he had signed a lifetime management deal with Dre that entitled him to 30 percent of Dre’s earnings and that Apple did not want to be associated with him, promoting Dre to cut ties with him around the time of the sale and pay a hitman to kill him.
Knight alleges that Dre paid Cle “Bone” Sloan $300,000 to kill him. Sloan is best known as one of the men whom Knight ran over with his car in 2015; he is one of two hitmen named in the lawsuit.
The other is a man named T-Money. Knight believes the LAPD questioned T-Money and extracted a confession, but have not yet arrested him.
Knight is current in jail awaiting trial for murder.
