Nicki Minaj Has No Immediate Plans to Respond to Remy Ma
Nicki Minaj Reportedly Has No Immediate Plan To Respond To Remy Ma’s Diss Tracks
When will Nicki Minaj respond to Remy Ma’s diss tracks? Apparently, not anytime soon. TMZ reports that the Young Money MC has “no immediate plan” to respond to Remy’s battle bars, ignoring the taunts she’s received from naysayers who believe she has to reply swiftly.
Sources say that several disses are being exposed as lies by the likes of Trey Songz and Hot 97’s Ebro Darden, who have both denied having sexual relations with Nicki.
Minaj’s camp says she isn’t hiding. After all, the superstar has been filming music videos with Future and Gucci Mane and she was prominent throughout Paris Fashion Week.
A diss track from Nicki hasn’t been ruled out entirely, according to insiders. However, it doesn’t look like it will arrive in the near future.
Last month, following a series of subliminal shots coming from both camps, Remy Ma unleashed fury on “shETHER,” a scathing diss about Nicki’s body, sexual partners, and writing ability. Before Nicki could respond, she dropped a second diss track, fittingly titled “Another One.”
For the most part, Nicki has remained silent about the beef, only appearing on social media to mock Remy Ma and Fat Joe’s Plata O Plomo sales and to confront Trey Songz about their alleged romance, which they both denied.
Chatter around the disses hasn’t stopped. Nicki’s ex Safaree called “shETHER” “the most disrespectful record” he’s ever heard.
Remy Ma later revealed that the beef was sparked as a result of behind-the-scenes drama. “It wasn’t necessarily the little subliminal stuff on records because I didn’t care,” she told Wendy Williams. “It was the behind-the-scenes things that you people will never know about, as far as, trying to keep me off of red carpets, trying to make sure awards don’t go to me or she’s not going to be in attendance, or trying to get people to make bad reports about my album sales, or just anything that I’m doing to make me look less and make her look better. I have a problem. When you’re trying to stop my bag, when you’re trying to stop me from taking care of my children, now, I have a problem with that.”
