Kanye West ‘ s Hospitalization Reportedly Related To Change In Medication Intake

A new report claims Kanye had deviated from his prescribed dosage.

Kanye Westreturned home from an 8-day hospital visit earlier this week, but reports continue to surface concerning the reasons for his “nervous breakdown.” TMZ now points to “sources connected with the family” who claim Kanye had been steady on medication, but had recently deviated from the prescribed dosage, which could have contributed to his eventual hospitalization.

The report notes that it’s not clear whether Kanye had stopped his medication entirely, or had simply changed his intake. The source says the biggest of these changes took place following Kim Kardashian’s Paris robbery in October. The story alleges that Kanye’s time spent in the hospital allowed doctors to stabilize him on his medication. There is no mention of which drug he had been prescribed.

West has been home since Wednesday. He is still receiving outpatient treatment for the time being.
