Ryan Giggs’ future at Man Utd remains in the balance after it emerged that the 42-year-old has not been offered a new role at Old Trafford – and is yet to receive any information from the Red Devils or Jose Mourinho as to his future at the club.
Reports that Giggs has been offered a role as a bridge between the first team and the U21s are inaccurate, according to Sky Sports.
The Welshman remains on holiday in Dubai today – he’s due to return at the weekend – and to date has heard nothing from senior figures at the club as to what they want him to do, following Louis Van Gaal sacking 11 days ago.
It is understood that as of this morning, nomeetings have been scheduled to clarify his situation.
Giggs, who joined United on his 14th birthday, has a year left on his contract.
