English club side, Manchester United has officially become the world’s richest club.
The club’s former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson tweeted the official 2015/16 revenues of clubs and revealed that Man United topped the list with £515.3bn, which turned out to be the highest in 2016.
Official 2015/16 revenues:
1. Man United – £515.3bn
2. Barcelona – £463bn
3. Real Madrid – £463bn
Richest club in the world. #MUFC, Ferguson tweeted. It was earlier in 2016 forecasted that Manchester United will overtake Real Madrid and Barcelona to become the world’s highest-earning football club over the next 12 months.
