Back in May, Tory Lanez and Drake dominated headlines by snapping a picture together and closing the chapter on their beef. Now, thanks a new interview with Hot 97, Tory Lanez is going public about his newfound relationship with Drake and the end of their problems with each other.
As per the footage below, Tory opened up and explained that he’s moved on from squashing with the OVO leader. “It’s about music at this point,” he said to Nessa Nitty. The Toronto artists originally disagreed on what direction their city should be headed towards, but as they’ve both carved out pretty monumental spaces in their own right, their long-time rift has come to an end.
Tory also spoke on his recent situation where he dropped $35,000
at a store just to flex on a prejudiced employee.
“We were going to the store to spend $35K regardless,” Lanez said. “We were going to shop. At the end of the day, I like to get fly, I love to dress — I don’t have a stylist, I dress myself … so when we walked in the store, the dude looked at us and he just kinda turned around ’cause I was in sweats … just had the bag on me, that’s all.
“It wasn’t that we spent money to get at him,” he added. “The fac of the matter was we gave the store credit to somebody else, you know what I’m sayin’? So the $35K went to somebody else.”
