Reports Says Lil Wayne is Threatening to Shut Down Young Money Amidst Birdman Lawsuits

Bird Man and Lil Wayne are seriously not having a good time

Over the summer, Lil Wayne claimed that Birdman and Universal conspired to cheat him out of millions, leaving him out of earnings from Drake Nicki Minaj and the Young Money brand since 2009. As he also battles for the public-documented $51 million of unpaid royalties, as well as witnessing Birdman go on a rant; Tunechi now wants to do away with the entire company.

According to a report from The Blast, the uptown Louisiana legend has filed legal documents to have a liquidator go through the entire imprint and clear all parties from contracts.

In the documents, Weezy is demanding that a court, “appoint a receiver to supervise the operations of Young Money Label joint venture or order the termination of Young Money Label joint venture and appoint a liquidator.” Along with an alleged $8 million advance for Tha Carter V he’s still seeking, Baby has said nobody should be appointed to liquidate the subsidiary label. We’re just curious if this possibly would make Drake, Nicki Minaj and Mr. Carter himself free solo agents.

In related news, Birdman is said to make an appearance on a pending episode of Everyday Struggle, on his request, to finally clear up the air regarding their internal rumors within his labels.

Take a look at Joe Budden revealing some information about his conversation with the C.E.O.
