A$AP Rocky’s Beverly Grove home in Los Angeles was hit by a group of armed robbers late Tuesday (May 16) night. Three men ran up on the Harlem rapper’s crib around 11:30 p.m, NBC4 Los Angeles reports.
According to the initial TMZ report, three men entered the house after threatening a woman who had opened the door. The outlet later clarified “the suspects got into the house through an unlocked window and A$AP’s sister walked in on them.” They then forced her to collect jewelry and other property around the house, worth an estimated $1.5 million.
TMZ claimed that the thieves targeted Rocky individually, who also picked up a safe from the house before fleeing the scene in a getaway vehicle. As well, Rocky was not home at the time of the robbery, and his sister was not tied up and did not appear to suffer any injuries.
The whole situation reeks of an inside job, if you ask us…
