This year has already been amazing for hip-hop. We’ve received so many highly-anticipated albums so far and there’s no sign of it slowing down. In fact, this weekend is gearing up to be one of the craziest couple of days of all of 2018. It feels as though everybody is dropping an album this year and T.I. is not allowing his name to not be in the conversation.

Back in 2015, Tip announced that he had changed the name of his tenth album from Trap’s Open to The Dime Trap. Now that the album is finally coming out on October 5, we get to hear another new song from the project. This time, we’re greeted with Young Thug’s instantly-recognizable voice.

“The Weekend” is the latest release from T.I.’s upcoming project. Out now in select international markets, the Young Thug-featuring song is available to be previewed on streaming services everywhere else in the world. If you’re not in the right zone, you may remember an older version of the track leaking last year. The instrumental seems to have gone unchanged as this is bound to be one of the smoothest records from the entire project.

Tip previously released collaborations with Meek Mill and Yo Gotti with both “Jefe” and “Wraith” expected to make the final cut for the album. How do you feel about this one?
