Nav is probably at the point where he doesn’t exactly need XXL’s annual Freshman list, with the backing of The Weeknd and the whole XO team, why would he? However the Torontonian still recognizes he is a freshman in this here rap thing, and thus, his first headlining tour is titled appropriately– Freshman. He’ll be joined by fellow Toronto-bred artists, 88Glam, who also have the XO connect and co-sign. It should be a very melodic tour.

With the tour announcement out of the way, Nav is back today with a new single that helps promote the tour announcement, while giving a nod to the XXL list all the same. If you already like Nav, there is nothing not to like about this bubbly, melodic new record.
