The spoken narrative on “Plugged In,” of taking office in the streets creates the illusion of reciprocity. As the second single in the lead up to his album drop with Zaytoven, Lecrae hopes to create a transference of ideas linking his notion of “the struggle,” to historical records of OJ da Juiceman making the same gesture, one bargaining chip at a time.
