Kehlani is at it “Again.” Capping off last year with “Honey,” “Touch,” and “Already Won,” Lani Tsunami dives into February with a new acoustic single.
Over the guitar-driven instrumental, produced by Geoffro Cause, the Bay Area songstress shares some symbolic and poetic lyrics for her lover. “There was the blood from your heart on my hands again,” she sings. “I swore I washed it off in the waves / I wish I was sorry, damn, I wish I was sorry / That I don’t know how to stay away.”
It’s unclear whether “Again” will appear on an album or if it is simply another freebie. Taking to Instagram, Lani even revealed that the track had yet to be mixed, but she was still excited to unveil it. “Unmixed just like I like it,” she said. “Imperfect and honest. 11:11. Here’s how I’m feeling… AGAIN.”
Kehlani is now working on the follow-up to last year’s SweetSexySavage. Later this month, she is also joining DJ Khaled and Demi Lovato on a tour, which kicks off Feb. 26.
