Charli XCX imagined on Twitter on Dec. 3 is not merely an idea — the singer confirmed it is very real, titled Pop 2, and will be released next week. In a BBC 1 Radio interview, XCX premiered new track “Out of My Head” featuring Tove Lo and Alma, using it as a segue to announce the new mixtape.

It’s the first song from a very real mixtape that myself and A.G. have been working on for the past couple of months,” Charli explained. “It’s called Pop 2. It’s going to drop a week from now but I might release a couple of songs before the full thing.
