Belly has been throwing his weight around of late. From the slept on Mumble Rap to the recent studio sessions with Jay-Z, it would appear that the XO/Roc Nation rapper is re-establishing a foothold on the game. Today marks the arrival of Belly’s latest sounds, which finds the Canadian rapper taking a trip to the West Coast.
While YG has been a busy man of late, taking a stand against 6ix9ine and working on his upcoming Stay Dangerous album, that hasn’t stopped him from lending a hand to his Northern neighbor. Once again enlisting the services of frequent collaborator DJ Mustard, YG holds it down on Belly’s latest drop “4 Days.”
Currently available in select international markets only, “4 Days” adheres to the “if it ain’t broke” formula. Over a bouncing beat from Mustard, both rappers spit braggadocious rhymes about the benefits of entrepreneurial prowess. Look for Belly to continue his momentum into 2018, as a Jay-Z feature is generally deemed a rite of passage.
