Just days before he sets sail with Lil Boat 2, Lil Yachty unleashes the album, featuring some familiar names.

The 17-song set includes appearances from 2 Chainz, Quavo, PnB Rock, Tee Grizzley, NBA YoungBoy, Lil Pump, Trippie Redd, and two features from Offset.

Lil Boat 2 arrives on the second anniversary of the original 2016 mixtape. It also follows Yachty’s 2017 debut Teenage Emotions, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.

Shortly after the latter’s release, Boat took to social media to address critics who said he underperformed. “I understand first week numbers didn’t do what most people expected but that’s only because they don’t understand me,” he wrote. “They don’t understand us. I don’t expect anybody to. I make it for those who listen. I feel like my brand is so big and blew up so big, it blew up bigger than my actual music. Which isn’t the worst situation it could be worse all I have to is make it to where my brand hype and music hype equal out.”

At the time, he said he would learn from his debut. “I know what you guys (my fans) liked about the project and didn’t like,” he added. “I’m putting that into consideration.”

Lil Boat 2 arrives March 9.
