As he proved on “My Beyonce,” his romantic duet with DeJ Loaf, R&B is not a far stretch for Lil Durk. From the early drill days, Durk was always the most melodic of his peers (though Keef would later do his own auto-tuned experiments), and his strong, world-weary croons are as complimentary to heavy rap instrumentals as they are lush textures. YFN Lucci is another artist whose melancholic sing-raps give him the ability to do a variety of styles, and together on “Feel God,” they’re a natural pairing.
